Is he trying to scare me away?

This guy I like flossed his teeth in front of me today. I was wondering if he was doing it to try and scare me off... It seems to me that he wouldn't do that if he was trying to impress me?

He might just not think it rude or something. I generally don't floss in front of other people, but mainly I consider it kind of rude to do so. He might not think so.

I think there would be more effective ways to scare you off than flossing in front of you if that was his intention.

If I wanted to scare away a girl, I think more easy is just start scratching my balls a lot in front of her or fart and wave it in her direction, things of this sort.
