Yesterday my boyfriend came over to my place. We had a really good time, ended up having sex, and then he told me how much he enjoys being with me.
Then right before he left, he leaned over and asked me if I believe in love. I said that I do and then he said he does too.
I wonder whether this was just a random question or did he mean something by it?

But if he asked you before he said whether he believed in it or not, then I'd assume that he cares about what you think and might be in love with you. Then again you know what they say when you assume something, "It makes an ass out of you and me" 😂😂
