Why is my boyfriend jealous all of a sudden?

My boyfriend & I have been together for over a year. Our relationship is great & has so far been very healthy. We all get a little jealous, that's normal m. But he has never been the "jealous" type. However, the other day, I sent him pictures of celebrities from google bc he can't decide on a haircut & I wanted to show him examples of men's haircuts that I thought would look good on him. Anyways, he got pretty jealous & his tone changed real quick which was very odd for him. What could cause this sudden behavior?

Maybe you made him feel sekf concious and showed him pics of your ideal looking man and he felt insulted somewhat and jealous because he doesn't look like the guys in the oics you sent him. How would you feel if he sent you pics of chics and tokd you maybe you should get a makeover and look like this for me? Because how you are right now ain't good enough.

Well I didn't say that at all. He asked me for help deciding what to do with his hair & I couldn't explain what I was thinking so I found a picture. Actually he sends me half naked girl pics on IG all the time & that sucks but that's a diff story. I guess the self conscious thing makes sense, although my intent was not to do that at all! yeah.. we are really close. He forgets sometimes I'm his girlfriend not his homie lol. He is old enough!

it could be that spmeone told him about your ex crushes. Or your present crush. And he does not want to confront because he will have to give away that guy.

Talk to him nicely and treat him the way yoi want to be treated if you get jealous. Tell him this could ruin the relationship. I am sure he would understand.

Ex crushes/present crushes? I don't have any, Im crazy about him. But how would a picture of like Tom Cruise for example lol make him jealous?

everyone has their own insecurities. Maybe that picture highlights something which he is insecure about and he did not like it.
