Why are middle aged men so gross?

I notice that a lot men turn grubby around 50. They don't shower or brush their teeth often. They usually have very skink breath. They stop taking care of their health and don't care about their appearance. What is it why most men just let themselves fall apart when they're in at that age? I pray that I don't end up like that!

They tend to stop caring what others think. Not all middle aged men are like this but a lot are. They tend to stop taking care of themselves and let themselves go. But yet want someone younger who looks like a supermodel.
