I have big boobs - and I personally think they're pretty great. But what do men think?

I'm never slutty with it but because I have naturally big breasts, it's difficult to not have cleavage.

How distracting is that for men?

It kind of depends on the circumstances and how you dress.

Guys (hell, EVERYONE) will notice cleavage, but it may be nothing more than a glance and a little smile. Now, if you're wearing a top that is very low-cut, and there is a LOT of boob on display, that can be legitimately distracting - the "walk into a signpost" type of distracting.

That's mostly if that cleavage is "out of context" - meaning you see it someplace where you don't really expect it. If you're at a club or a cocktail party, you expect to see women looking hot, and so it's not out of context, but if you just see a random woman walking down the street with massive cleavage, that will cause double-takes and so forth (even women will do that sometimes).

Its a man's way to indirectly tell a woman that he is attracted to her without having to spell it out to her. Men are not actually attracted by cleavage except for the initial visual. In reality, they just try to attract women's attention by telling them hey 'babe you are attractive and I would like you to hold those babies around me'. If you know what I mean.

I have witnessed it a lot. A guy was staring at my breasts so much he literally bumped into a garbage can.
Another time a guy stopped running on the treadmill just to stare at me.
I think for some men it's distracting especially if it's rare for them to see someone with huge breasts that is natural.

It can be very distracting but it depends on the woman/cleavage/situation. It's biological though and guys are visual so we literally can't help but stare sometimes. I've caught myself staring at women's cleavage before and not even meaning to. Not only was it inappropriate under the circumstances but I wasn't even attracted to the woman, I just couldn't help but look though. It was automatic, like I couldn't control myself. Like a car accident or something, you just have to look. lol Sometimes I really have to make a conscious effort NOT to and it's very hard sometimes.

I think if it were to be legal for woman to go topless (everywhere) and women actually did it, I think it would eventually just become normal and they wouldn't be such a big deal, but because they are always covered, even considered "naughty" we are "fascinated" by them.

If you're showing a LOT of cleavage or wearing a really tight fitting top, it creates a problem. Even if I'm not normally staring at breasts, if you're tall and they're near my eye level, how does one AVOID staring when you're showing a lot of them? You have to avert your eyes and look over the girl's head or something to avoid the appearance of staring. If you're way shorter than the guy it would be ok, but if you're 5'9 or something, you should cover up to give us guys a break.

But man, a really tall girl showing off right in our line of sight when we are trying to have a conversation, that's downright rude. It's impossible not to stare. At our local coffee shop there's a girl always showing her tiny bra, her blouse unbuttoned; she's not that large, nor tall, but she's on a platform behind the counter and when you get your coffee her half uncovered breast are right in my line of sight, and I think she enjoys the way I have to look to the side or over her head to avoid staring.
