Does it mean anything when your ex watches your Snapchat story?

My ex watches every Snapchat story I post. I have been trying to get over him so I haven't watched any of his stories since we last spoke. I still have hope that the universe will bring us together again so I haven't been ready to unfriend him (and it also makes me happy when I see that he has watched my story).
Maybe I'm looking too much into this but is there a chance that the fact that he watches my stories means he misses me even in the slightest? If I want him to miss me should I be watching his stories? Or at least some of them?

My goodness, you remind me of myself and my ex. I never watched his snapchat stories because it hurt too much. But when he watched mine, it made me really happy. After two years of not speaking, he recently reached out but I don't think snapchat is what made him reach out.

People have a habit of watching everyone's snapchat stories. I usually watch every single one, even people I don't care about and skip through it like its nothing.

Reasons he could be watching: (1) He's curious about what you're up too or (2) just a snapchat habit - he's watching everyone's stories.

Look snapchat is a great tool, if you do want him back, just don't abuse it and post desperate stories that I see some girls do (posting sad quotes, erotic pics or annoying long stories). Use it sparingly, once a week if that, and of you doing something cool! Let's say you went rockclimbing, or zip lining. Show that you are enjoying life and having a good time. He'll become intrigued and will start to miss the positive, awesome person that he fell in love with ;)

Yo girl the same thing happened to me! I just went on with my life thinking that earth is filled with single men who wouldn't take me for granted and my ex realized that I was ready to move on and he came back to me and asked if we can get back together because he missed me a lot
Honestly, i was willing to move on because I thought that would make him happy... but it ended out favoring me

it honestly depends on the person. if we are talking about me, i only watch the stories of people i'm interested in. i consistently watch about 3 snapchat stories and i don't open anyone elses ( i have a lot of snap friends though). i know the guy im into watches everyone's story to clear the notification. although he responds to all of my stories so i know he's legit watching lol.

Sometimes we look to deep into things and this might be one of them, sorry about that possibility. Try and message him or talk to him about it.

However, here is the thing about ex relationships. You broke up for a reason, I think you should move on. And in the very odd case he is truly, truly worth it, then try to get him back. But be sure about that, do you want to get back with him? Why? What would be different? Why would it be any different? Everything On the outside can change but if nothing in the inside changes then the same thing will happen.

It was mutual... things were rough for a while. I texted him I was sorry and missed him a month later and he didn't respond. Since then I have deleted his number and I wonder if he regrets not responding? I'm not even positive he saw my message since there was never a read receipt.

The problem with asking is that I was the last person to reach out to him. I texted him telling him I missed him and he didn't respond, so I feel like I could never reach out to him again because I don't want to seem desperate. But because he watches my stories I do wonder if he regrets not texting me back but is scared I moved on because I don't watch his stuff? Haha I am way overthinking all of this
