So I was graduating school yesterday & I was saying goodbye to my male sports teacher in school who's 37 who I've known for 3 years. He's helped me out a lot with different things including my anxiety since he's also a therapist. I have his number because he told me to ring/text him if I needed anything including sports related. I texted him to thank him for everything he's done for me & he texted back saying no problem along with a winky face. Is this creepy?

my his math teacher was the same , he's just being nice to you so when u turn into ur adult twenties u will be more cheerful , a teacher probably did that to him , its common in highschool for that to happen , it looked like a farewell message , just something to remember , when ur older it will make more sense , dont think about it too much until ur older

Jeez, bunch of losers here who think emoji's are SO meaningful and only to be used between teens. Get over yourselves. He doesn't give a shit about you. You are just another graduate that is moving on. It's a simple winky face. So easily bothered! He probably things you are weak and needy for texting him the first place.

Well he probably likes you but it can also mean he wishes you do a great job wish you well but also it's creepy

he may also be attracted to you. a lot of older guys have a thing for the "barely legal" 18-21's
I would just ignore it and pretend it never happened.
he could have just as easily pressed the wrong emoji button and not noticed

He's almost 40, he probably doesn't realize how that emoji is used among teens. I don't think he meant it in the way that it is commonly used today
