What to do when your crush askes you for an advice about another girl?

He's done that few times before. Once he told me about a girl he likes. Yesterday he texted me at 2am. He literally sent me a sms because he's somewhere where he doesn't have any wifi. We were talking and he told me that he got drunk recently and texted some girl if she wants to date him. Apparently she kinda cutted him off. I really don't know what was I supposed to tell him. And I also don't know why he does that. I mean, I'm sure his guy friends would gave him much better advice than me. We're not even friends for that long, it's been a month and something since we started talking actively (but we knew and texted with each other even before). There were some sings that looked like he could be interested in me, but I don't know why would he ask me about these things.

I can guess why he's asking you instead of his male friends: a) can't talk to most dudes about the feels because reasons, b) he may think a girl can give him a new angle about his interactions with another girl.

Tell him right then that you have feelings for him and want him to choose you. If you wait it will be too late and it will hurt more to see him with someone else not knowing if you could have had him.

It may make things awkward for a while if he doesn't feel the same way, but that is better than you always wondering if you could have had him and having to hear about him and the other girl. Just make sure if he doesn't feel the same way, that even if it seems awkward for a while, force yourself to hang out and do some of your favorite activities that you like doing together.
