What does it mean when a guy gives you a long and tight hug at the end of your first date?

I met this guy online and we instantly started talking. Found out that he lived really near me so after a month of talking, we decided to meet up at the movie theatre. I know that he had a girlfriend before. So I knew that he was experienced with girls. As expected, online and real life was quite different. I guess I realized I didn't have much feelings for him when we met irl. Half way through the movie, he started to hold my hand. When it was almost time for me to leave, he told me he wanted a hug. I was a little suprised at how long the hug actually was. I was expecting maybe a 3 seconds hug max but it turned to be almost 10 min. He told me that he wanted to stay like that for a while. I was wearing a backpack so he had his arms wrapped on top of my shoulders. I could feel him nuzzle his head against my shoulder and neck. He even played with a few strands of my hair within the ten minutes. The hug was quiet. But it was really warm. I liked it but I want sure if there is some deeper meaning into why he wanted to stay like that for ten minutes? His hug around me was also pretty tight. While hugging he asked me for the permission to kiss. I didn't know how to respond so I looked at his face the first time ever throughout the hug. And then it happened. He kissed me. I feel like I don't really know what his intentions are. Does he genuinely want to be in a relationship? Or is he just using me? And keep in mind, this was our first time meeting irl. Even though we talked for a month already online.

Soo... I think he noticed that you started to feel. Different from online and thought he would lose you so he hugged you tightly as a sign I don't want yu to leave me, and then to confirm the feeling he asked you to kiss, I don't know if you liked it or not but if you did give the guy another try he is really anxious about losing you

Hmmmmm well first off sounds a bit much for a first meet depending on your previous conversations... But what really matters is what u want and expect out of this relationship/friendship. Just be honest with him and make it clear. Then go from there. Hope this helps good luck
