Because I know that all the time or almost all the time, girls are attracted to guy's who are high-status, or just high social status, that have resources, or a lot of resources. What does that mean? what is a guy who is high status, high social status, and has resources? Does resources just mean money only? financially successful? or does resources refer to other things? if so, what kind of other things?

for example, a star high school or college athlete(not mentioning professional because they obviously get paid while high school and college athletes don't, so they attract gold-diggers), or a guy in the military, has a hot, cute, pretty girlfriend.

I would say that is a generalization. High-status/high social status are attractive, simply because they mean a guy could help provide for a family (it's a social construction beaten into us from a very young age that a family needs to be provided for, etc.)

BUT. The MOST attractive things are whether or not you are able to live comfortably (this may mean different things depending on who you are courting) and if you are confident both in your own element and when you are trying new things. (Confidence is NOT being 'awesome' at whatever, it is being comfortable with it and not afraid of making mistakes.)

But, to answer your question directly:

High Status - Someone with POWER. Someone who has the ability, either on their own or through others, to change the environment around them and have others agree or help them.

Has Resources - Money, or once again the ability to change their own world positively. Maybe you have access to free building materials and mad construction skills. Or your services are in high demand.

Yeah, as I've gotten older, I've noticed that what attracts girls to guys and what attracts guys to girls is different

Too many guys confuse girls being attracted to a guy who is fun and interesting to spend time with as "being attracted to guys with high status." Girls who are socially adept generally want to date guys who are as well. Most girls are attracted to guys that "match" them, with the exception of gold diggers.

Also, most girls know they can't date a guy she finds really physically attractive. So she wonders, well ... what else would make this enjoyable?

Is really hard to figure out because each person has their own view or definition of high status, high social status, or high resources.

Girl's are very attracted to this kind of guy's , cause they see them has very stable person and can support the.

High Status to me is that person has a college degree and has a stable life.

High Social status to me is a person that has many people has friends but can't keep track of them and goes to a lot of party's or events.

High resource to me is a person that is very wealthy and is receiving that wealth in many different way's and forms.

It's very hard to tell the status of high school & college jocks and military guys, because they get there status by the way they live their life.

it means girls are attracted to guys with deep social connections. In essense, that is social status, which means a guy has plenty of friends(both guys and girls), is frequently participating in social activities, and is involved in several different social circles. Pretty much, girls judge guys on their social skills, conversation skills, their attitude, mentality, way of thinking, the way they walk, sit, stand, think, talk, breathe, their confidence, self-esteem, the way they feel about themselves in the same way that guys judge girls on their looks, body, physical appearence.
