What does it mean from a guy?

He 100% likes a girl And he had a few girlfriends, or hook ups so he's not a young, unexperienced guy. But with one girl (he said to his friends that he's very attracted to her), he is more silent. Like if the girl doesn't start a conversation or playing around/some teasing, then he dont say anything all day to her, just looks at her when she's around, makes eye contact always. But he is not a shy man. Why is that? But if the girl doesn't say anything as well, then he thinks, that she's mad at him. Like wtf?

Okay, first impressions and gut feeling on my part, he is having new and different feelings about this girl than he’s had before. A lot of guys don’t realize what it really feels like to be flipped over a girl until it happens, and then they don’t know how to react. This would explain him being more silent, but a guy making prolonged eye contact with a girl is a bid for connection. They don’t do it with girls they don’t feel attracted to and/or comfortable with, especially because it’s a very strong signal that can make a girl that’s not ready for a guy’s advances uncomfortable.


If he’s getting upset at her for not talking, it’s obvious that he wants her attention, and again, because of new feelings about this particular girl, he may not quite know how to otherwise appropriately ask for it.


We often accidentally default to younger, less mature behavior when we feel vulnerable or that our heart is on the line, especially if we don’t have any preset behavior patterns to fall back on when we come up against an experience.
