A guy friend of mine and I were texting, and then towards the end of the conversation, he said, "Have a good night 😊"

Do guys often text text girls goodnight or even say it when having casual conversation? For me, that's kinda weird to say unless we're really close bc it's like something only I say to my family.

Telling someone to have a good night is a perfectly normal thing to say... That doesn't mean that he isn't interested in you, I just think you're over reading that one particular sign.

Is there anything else that leads you to believe that he might be interested?

That's how I end most of my conversation so I say it's nothing really.
