Long story short I turned down a very shy guy for reasons that are too complicated right now. After that he stopped talking to me for couple of years. After that we kept in touch here and there via text. We both got into different relationships. And it’s been years. Recently I mentioned that me and my partner broke up and since then we text a lot more on daily basis and he started reacting with ❤️ on the good night texts. I can’t make up my mind if he is developing feelings again or is it standard.

Yeah the key is that he is very very shy. He even hinted that he’s still shy for me and we’ve known each other for years. But the other day my Airbnb host reacted with heart emoji and I got confused. Haha maybe that’s what people do. But he definitely didn’t do that before ever.
