I've been with this guy for about four months. Because of previous relationships, I have really bad self esteem, and because I'm not stick skinny, I'm extremely self conscious.
The guy I'm with now continuously comments on how small I am. I've seen his exes and they're about my size, just taller, so compared to them, I'm small, but our bodies are pretty similar. I don't think he's mocking me or anything (I'm 130 lbs, so I'm not obese.)
What's weird to me is that he's always grabbing me. Whether it's my boobs, my butt, my stomach/love handles, whatever. Like I'll just be walking by him and he'll grope my boobs. I don't mind at all and he made sure I was okay with it before doing it, but last night we were having sex and he kept grabbing and holding onto the fat on my stomach. I would even grab his hand and move it up to my boobs but he'd move it back down to my stomach and hold onto the fat there.
I've had eating disorders before, so I'm not a fan of my body, although I know I'm healthy now, so I can't wrap my head around why anyone would want to even see my stomach, let alone grab onto it. Is this a thing a lot of guys do? Does the average guy mind a little fat on a woman? I've only ever been with younger guys before this one (they've always been 7-8 years younger- the last two were 24 & 25 and the guy I'm with now is 31) and the younger guys left me because they found women with better bodies. Do men stop caring as they get a little older and mature?
