Why don't guys approach me? Is it my hijab?

I hate that I know that guys like me but they never approach me. I often see guys staring, I receive compliments and I know a few have loved me but why do they never try to come near me? Guys are really nice to me and they treat me with too much caution... Is it because they are afraid to hurt me or scare me? Does my hijab make them afraid to break a social code by getting romantically involved with me? I mean all guys in general. I am not that much open but I am brave, I talk and joke with anyone when I feel like it. It is easy to talk to me and everyone says I am very kind.

don't worry love, you are just 20 years old, its not the end of the world. Give yourself some time, complete your education, and have fun and their is nothing wrong with a hijab, if someone likes you, it will not matter, but if you are looking for short relationships and casual sex then it will effect you chances. I have a lot of friends who still wear hijab and are happily married.

I don't have a third because it really doesn't bother me and I know that not all people have accepted the hijab. It's ok, but don't be harsh with other people because you don't know other people's situation and ur comment could have triggered somebody's misery

Wauw, you just neglected the fact that the peace of cloth you are reffering to is a religious symbol.
Islam asks women to cover themselves and show their beauty only to their husbands and those included in their Mahraam list. So there is a strict rule set in place for muslim devotee's. A dress code like that dousn't match my personal views on how a modern woman (2017) should dress. Especcialy not for that reason.

I like my hijab. Guys (even girls) stare at me very often and I work out and take really good care of my appearance. So I definitely don't think the problem is that I am not attractive

If you really still like your hijab and want to wear it. Then that's your choice. Unless you are pressured by your surrounding to wear it, then we are talking about a basic human rights issue.

I also like my pink leather boots, if no woman would interact with me while I wear those boots. I'd take them off. But I still like them.

Every non-muslim man will probably have their own reason. For me, I wouldn't want to deal with religious bullshit. Some people wouldn't want to deal with the conflicts that can be created with cross-religious relationships. But to answer your question: yes, it's your hijab.
