Avoid eye contact?

Why would a guy avoid eye contact with a girl? He avoids eye contact while speaking with me and I feel uncomfortable because of this. I think he should have told me if I did something to make him uncomfortable and avoid eye contact. Should I ask him why he behaves like that? What are your opinions?

I can only speak for myself, but I think I am somewhat the same as the guy you talk to.

I had a rough youth (if you want to call it that) and lived 4 years in isolation (went to school but nothing more). I never learned to read body language nor facial expression.

I spend 90% of the time focusing on everything else than the person I talk to.

Metaphorically looking in somebodys eyes AND getting looked at feels like slowly moving my hand towards a blade that i can't see but I know exists.

Tell him that you wish he'd look in your eyes more often and he'll react either telling why or promising he'll do better from now on.

Some people find it hard to have eye contact. It could be that he is shy or nervous aswell

Then it is probably bc he likes you. Or is he like this around other girls as well? thats a possibility too

I don' t know if he likes me as he didn't tell me anything he is not a very close friend. He is not like this around other girls only me.

there is the possibility that he is like this because he doesn't know you very well, or he feels intimidated by you, maybe he looks up to you in some way.

He probably likes you, but if it’s bothering you that much one day while you’re talking maybe make a joke about why he isn’t looking at you

May be he is an introvert, try talking to him 2 more times.. if it doesn't improve , may be his afraid.. may be doesn't believe you, may be guilty

Depends on the situation,, I don't know the context... don't know the dialogues between you and him.. guilty for any of his faults..

May be his a cheat, may be he is lying to you..

May be you are rich, he is poor..😁😁

He could be shy, or he has a big crush on you and don't want it to be known.. Heh..

From my experience I don't show eye contact because I feel shy or I don't know if I should open up, but that's just me
