Guys, when you notice small changes that a girl does, does that mean anything?

It means he's paying attention, which, for most guys, means he has an interest in you. Now, you must realize that while it SOMETIMES means that the interest is romantic, most of the time, that interest is JUST sexual (i. e., he wants to bang you because he finds you attractive, but doesn't really want to date you or be in a relationship with you).

In rare cases, it could just mean that he has a sharp eye for detail generally, and it doesn't have anything to do with you specifically, but that's definitely the exception to the rule.

Only that she got a new haircut or whatever. If she stopped having interest in me physically and was paying a lot of attention to her looks, new clothes, haircut, and so forth, I would know she is either cheating, looking for another partner, or about end the relationship.

But I am always trying to spot changes so that I may compliment her.

Right out I would say I can't say yes or no because if a girl is doing those small changes in hopes that you'll notice her and it doesn't matter to that guy that'll hurt her, but I can't say that it means something to me because a girl should do whatever makes her happy, not because someone needs to make those changes feel approved to her.
