Girls, how to make guys notice the small changes you do in daily life?

Like getting them to notice that you had your hair done today. Nails, eyebrows, tan whatever.

Also gets applied to other small things.

What do you do to get them to know about such things?

Also, any tips for guys to help them in this situation?

I just do not want to be perceived as a guy who is not attentive, does not make his wife/girlfriend feel loved and attended.

I have to show him directly, or he doesn't get it. Sometimes he'll notice something's off, but not usually what exactly.

Frankly, familiarize yourself with her normal habits deeply and intimately. If you KNOW she always has red nail polish, then when she switches to blue, you'll know.

Would you try to give any subtle hints to him, so as to help him notice? What would they be in lets say nail polish and hair case? How aggressive would you be?

I used to try make a point of it - for example, reaching for things across the table, picking at my nails, drawing on the table with them... He took no notice.
With hair, it was more along the lines of constantly flipping it back or letting it drape forward.

Not sure, but most of my friends are fairly similar.
