I think their idea of ''stylish'' is very different from ours. Most men dont have a clue about womens fashion. They definitely notice if a girl is well put together and takes care of her appearance, they might appreciate a well dressed girl and a nice outfit that suits her, but they probably have no idea if that outfit is ''stylish'', only that it looks good on her body and seems decent enough for public.

Men don't usually take part in wearing trendy women's clothing, so the metagame of seasonal clothing and brand names is usually missed.

@Boppy exactly. but I think most guys would still notice a girl who is well dressed vs a girl with very basic clothes, I just don't think they care or it makes a difference to them

Yes I had this coworker who was really fashionable. She was very mature for her age and smart too. It was kinda frustrating sometimes cause I'm a mess ^^. I was super impressed with her style. It looked like the style of someone ten years older than her. One time she wore this skarf that blew my mind. She was already very attractive even without the fashion though ^^.

I think guys know if her style looks good to us or not, but most don't follow "style" enough to know if that particular outfit is the new hotness or is last year's flop. Mostly, we know we like it or we know we don't.

Yes but most men will notice something else regardless of what a woman is wearing and that's if she had class or not.

If for example a woman is wearing a very expensive dress and looks really well put together but her behaviour is sadly lacking in class then most men will notice that straight away, on the other side then a woman who has class can wear a bin bag and still be classy because she had that class, Jenifer Aniston springs to mind here

It depends on how stylish is defined.

I dress fashionably. I don't care for and have never bought fad designs or celebrity-endorsed outfits (which some would call 'stylish') but what I do throw together attracts more than a few compliments (from women & men alike).

Of course. But guys are simply not anywhere near as attuned to 'style' as the girls are. Not even close. And they don't know anything about makeup. They just know 'pretty' when they see it.

Love can't start 'till attraction does... and then there needs to be a conversation.
So continue to develop those social skills as well.

We do, it's just that too many women think that dressing slutty is stylish just like how too many men think that expensive basketball shoes and a necklace makes him stylish.

@vmjhjksdcd Me personally, I tend to think of what people wore back in the day (early to mid 1900s-ish). Men wore nice fitting clothes, nice shirt (maybe a button down), jacket, barely any jewelry nice NON FLAMBOYANT shoes, etc. and women dresses and skirts and if they prefer jeans or pants then a nice sweaters and blouses would go well too.
