Why do girls lack logic and reason?

Question

Guys don't show emotion, but that doesn't mean they don't have emotions. It's just that society punishes men for showing their emotions, so men just keep them inside and to themselves.

Girls don't show logic or reason, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't have logic or reason. Society doesn't punish women for showing their logic or reasoning, so there's no reason to not let it show.

Anything from how guys think, how guys are, how love is, how relationships are, sex, or marriage; it just seems like any female analysis purposefully lacks logic and reason, and instead resorts to either (1) child-like idealized fantasies, or (2) a system of rules and conditional statements designed to create an end result favorable to women, if all the rules and conditional statements are complied with.

you are using examples you chose to make women look absurd. I can match you point for point with guys acting the exact same way. people can be extremely irrational if they do not make an effort to control themselves. I have encountered guys acting completely irrational, no different than the examples you gave--and they were not 16. I don't know what kind of people you spend time with, but women I know are extremely rational because overly emotional behavior irritates me.

Seriously. guys are extremely emotional & they show it all the time. the second a guy gets offended or feels hurt e stats yelling or getting mad at everyone or sulks. guys are extremely passive aggressive. they think they are the center of the world, because for thousands of years they have been told they are.

women wo think of marriage do so because girls are raised-unless thee parents intervene- to dream of prince charming. boys are raised- unless parents intervene- to dream of f***ing as many girls as possible before they settle down to the princess. babies are not born dreaming of princes & p*rn stars. you are taking people brains entirely out of context.

many women don't mary- they live with a guy because they love him. I notice your rules said nothing about respect. which is most logical & which you clearly lack as you arbitrarily make assertions about a whole people just because you read cosmo magazine.

why don't you just ask users what their opinions on all thee subjects instead of trying to insult people.

guys actually have to ACT irrational before anyone says they are behaving irrationally or being overly emotional. .Women get punished whether they show emotion or not. People- including you- think women are overly emotional before they/ you have even met them. It is a popular stereotype that helps make men feel like lone cow boys , in control, while things in the world are changing.

People buy it because it makes them feel better about themselves, because they feel like they can share a widely held belief - even if it is an undesirable one. Women are assumed to BE irrational.. as you yourself have exemplified in your prejudicial post.

If you actually is an issue you want to address. I suggest you think of the points you wish to discuss carefully. present it in a coherent manner, & calmly instead of having a melt down on GaG.

well .. because its a fact .. and its known that ...  its in mens nature .. they are strong , solid .. and they always think with their brains .. and in womens nature , they are not as strong as men and if you notice they think with their hearts you know ..  for example when making a decision about something  men might make a decision by thinking carefully about it but a woman may make it based on feelings .. and we can see that regarding relationships nd other stuff ...so when a woman makes a decision sometimes she lets what she feels in her heart interfere with that decision .. that's why sometimes there is no logic in it ..  its men , womens nature you know ...   but ofcourse there are strong women who think logically and makes good decisions and there are men who make decisons that don't show logic ... it depends on the persons nature ..  but here I talked about the majority of men and women .. hope I helped

Ignore those other women. I believe you're right. I see no shame in it. I agree with rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr in the fact that science and nature have made us biologically more emotional than men based on our hormones. With our emotions impacting our judgement, we simply can't reason logically. Since you men are able to reason logically, your decision making skills are stronger and more effective than ours.
I am not offended in the least with your question because unlike most women, I accept the truth. You should message me. I'd like to hear more on your thoughts on women.

Have you ever heard the term "feminine logic?" It's an oxymoron. Oxymorons are when opposites are placed next to each other in the English language to contradict each other. To call something the "false truth" or the "unfaithful faithful" is to use an oxymoron. Well, since women are NOT logical, the term "feminine logic" is therefore the equivalent of illogical because "feminine" is opposite of logic.
In answer to your question: it's simple, women lack reason and logic because they base their decisions on emotions rather than common thought. They rely on men to lead them and yet use their pathetic power to pull men down when they find it convenient for their needs. I hope this answer helped.
Incidentally, I'm surprised that you invited women to answer this question as well as men. The way I see it, your question was a very rational logical question with arguments and points that were very thought out, so since you allowed women to answer it and they aren't logical, they probably didn't understand the question. For those who did, which I guarantee was a very small percentage of the women that posted, it also requires logic and reason to ANSWER the question too. The majority of those that posted were women! I am certain that EVEN IF a few of them, and I mean a FEW of them, understood your question, NONE of them were able to use logic and reason TWICE to be able to answer your question! Men can use reason and logic twice in a short amount of time. The women that CAN use it once need a long amount of time before the they can again. You stated to one of them that you weren't getting the answer you wanted... well, I hate to state the truth, you're not going to get the answer from them. Their minds are like children's minds.
The question you asked should be answered by a man, particularly one that studied human behavior.

Because we men spoil them!!! after a while women get used to having things without earning them. Most men r driven by sex and so we do all sorts of things to get it. since women get offered sex more than guys on average it becomes common and what is considered common is usually that desireable. so women just watch tv, movies, n compare their lives to that of their friends and co workers. Most women dont get consequences for their actions unless its sexually related. Thats why so much of them lie about how much men they have sex with or lie about close encounters. they know this will lower their value in a mans eyes

because more often then you would think the moment a girl shows she might be able to out smart a guy he freaks out so yes in a way girls do get punished, some guys and some girls have logic and reason, some girls don't and some guys don't. but everyone has it to a point we are born with it, there is also such a thing as too much logic and reason. your point with how women process things is disgusting, maybe the girl is using a logic you just can't understand, or you don't know the exact circumstances of why she came to that conclusion. In regards to point number two, couldn't you argue that it is logical to try and create a system of rules that benefits us in the end? It is the survival of the fittest after all.

Because we are all humans we all do possess the ability to reason. Many girls may be receiving more positive feedback when basing their decisions on emotions than reasoning. Or it could be due to the apparent differences between male and female brains (where use of emotion and logic differs among individuals, but generally speaking the female is more emotionally based than logically based).

The judgement you seem to be making obviously do not apply to all girls. Even your example uses a sixteen-year-old. Obviously, teenage girls can be STUPID. Teenage boys can be too. Yes, immature girls can have little fantasies about finding the perfect guy, but those will prove to be just that - fantasies.

As far as the "have, like, enjoy sex" making a girl a slut, that IS society's influence. Guys are supposed to be sex-craving douches, and girls are supposed to hold out, etc. Therefore, by society's ruling, a girl who's a virgin past a certain age MUST be waiting for marriage, a guy who's still a virgin at the same age must be a loser or can't get any, and a girl who has/enjoys sex "too much" or has sex with many partners, she must be a slut.

girls don't lack logic and reason. they just think differently because their brains are different (this is true). many girls' thinking styles are more abstract, and focus more on personalities and interpersonal things and are more driven by emotion. overall, most men are more analytical in their thinking. note that these are generalizations, I know a lot of women who are in the sciences and other fields.
