Guys, my boyfriend is so corny / nice ..is it real?

sometimes I wonder if its fake or if he's trying something ?

like he would be "id go anywhere as long as it's with you"

or Id say "you can't have me whenever you want" and he'd say "at least I have you sometimes". there are plenty of other examples just not in my head right now...

its usually through texting he normally doesn't say those types of things in person expect he always mentions how I'm cute... he always says that?!?

sometimes I wonder if its genuine..? what is this guy up to?!

Too be honest with you, I love to have a corny sense of humor/relationship. It makes my girl smile all the time since it is pretty ridiculous at times but I also don't aim my humor on people to try and get them to laugh at th expense of others embarrasmennt. I think that's what drew her into me too. So I mean if he is like me, its probably his true self.

I think he may not have the confidence to say those things in person. You can take what info you can from his past though, such as how his previous relationships went. I say corny/sweet things all the times over the phone/text but don't bring it up as much in person because it feels a little awkward.

Give him a little time, I'm sure he'll loosen up.

Well, I meant about the corny sweet things he says. There are those guys that no doubt use that to their advantage when you're bringing up the topic of whether he means it or not (I have some friends who do and they're players). But, if he has had a normal past such as two or three long-terms, then don't worry about it. He'll need to boost his confidence to say those things in person. Texting/online chat is an easier medium as we don't have to must AS MUCH courage as opposed to in-person. Get me?

I thought that for a while, after being in a rubbish relationship for 5 years, and now my boyfriend is amazing and says really nice things and treats me with so much respect I wondered too... its all down to the individual but not all guys are Ba****ds jusr bare that in mind!
