If two people stop talking to each other, how long does it usually take for one of them to crack?

As other people said, it really depends on the reason they stopped talking. It also depends on the personalities of the two people, and whatever's going on in their minds and lives. It could simply be that both people are too busy/preoccupied, one or both of them are too shy, etc. In any case, if there was a special friendship or budding relationship there, one of them should step up to the plate and make contact. Good friends are priceless, and there's no point in putting things off.

Depends I stopped speaking to a girl once and didn't start again for 3 years and then only because she was still friends with some of my friends and it was inconvenient to keep it up. I don't normally do that, in fact she's the only person I've ever stopped talking to. But, I'm just saying it can go a long time.
