he first said I don’t see this going anywhere tbh and then he texted me that and I texted him that he really broke my heart but I forgot to save it and he wrote that paragraph saying that I was beautiful and kind hearted. This was my first boyfriend ever and he texted me this like at 12 am. I noticed that as time passed his texts started becoming more and more dry and one answered he also told me that I was awkward af and not outgoing at all and that he didn’t show pda especially since I was not outgoing. He was never affectionate with me

It happens quite often that a person realises a relationship is not what they want at that point if their life. To me it seems like the guy just wants to live a free and single life. Often we have little control over our feelings. He probably liked you and went with it. Then realised its not what he wants. Best leave it at that. You've gained experience through this. You'll know better what to look for in future relationships. Most relationships don't have a happy ending. In fact, usually only one does. Even though he broke up with you through text, which is not ideal, this can still be passed as a civilised break up. Just accept the situation and move onto something better. Whether you block him or not is up to you. You have no reason to look back though. Younger people tend to be more indecisive so I guess by blocking him you're eliminating additional drama. Now that you've blocked him, don't go back and unblock him. Stick to your decision.

Not necessarily. He could still like you. But I think he feels he's not ready for a serious relationship. Maybe he wants to have more time for himself or his friends or he simply wants to date other girls too. It's normal, especially if he's young. Young guys tend to be scared of serious relationships and more keen to be with different girls in casual way - just hooking up. It doesn't mean he doesn't like you. It means he doesn't want a relationship.

No worries. Don't worry about it too much. You know what you want. He's the one who doesn't know what he wants. You shouldn't waste your time with guys like that. At younger age guys tend to be a bit more immature than girls. Find yourself someone who makes it very clear that they want to be with you and they know what they want. I can promise you that in a few months or a year you'll look back on this and laugh about that fool.

I know he did sweetheart, it’s a horrible feeling. I had a chance to think about it and if I was with someone I wanted and loved I’d not make excuses for commitment if I had what I need. 10yrs ago when I had nothing (no qualification, no money, no life, had run away), a girl I’d not even had a relationship with but knew me for a long time suddenly confessed her love for me (she found me, knew where I was) and I wanted her but all I thought about is how I’m going to be with her in my situation.. just like that I said nothing and left the city. At least this guy comes out and tells you genuinely and nicely. Respect it and move on but keep the doors open.

I... wouldn't do a whole lot. You know, he used you, and that's pretty serious. Maybe it's best to discourage being friends or anything more.

I don't know, maybe you are not mature, either? you said it's your first "whatever this is", so maybe don't take it so seriously realize you are growing and maturing and this is an opportunity to learn and grow some more. There will probably be many more relationships and interactions before you get to a point where you can communicate clearly without taking or giving blame and having these sorts of immature blasts.
