to me, its fine since girls calling me "dude" sounds like she is comfortable around me or she is just more comfortable speaking tomboy (ish). if its a SO, it really doesn't change. i just need to adjust the idea of the word "darling" that is now been replaced by the word "bro"
If its how the girl spoke before you met get used to it. Kind of like an introductory name. If she had a nickname when you first met her you might get stuck calling her that. If she was using slang like dude or bro its habitual. Just get used to it. No one is perfect. Except for Donald Trump. But thays gonna end him up in jail. Dont expect perfection. Because you are not perfect either. If she calls you bro say ok sister and see how that fairs. I have a feeling it might change some perspectives.
