Sometimes I'll say "oh hey dude guess what!" To like my boyfriend and he'll get all salty that I called him dude like jeez sorry it slipped I was tryna tell you a damn story but ok.
Also with guy friends I'll be like hey bro or dude and they'll be like please don't call me that
But
I'm just tryna see WhYyY 😭

I call guys “man”. Lol. I’m always like “hey man, how’s it going?” 😂😂😂

But I also only have guy friends. And I’m friend zoned by them too. They call me bro, dude, etc. and fist bump me sooo. They’re cool with me calling them “bro, dude, man, etc”.

Only a couple of guys have called me out on it but they later revealed they liked me. I still called them dude tho. 😂

I don't call guys bro unless it is like something really funny and am like bruhhh but still I'd never say bro to someone i have romantic feelings for.
Dude i say it kinda often especially when am mad or frustrated sometimes I'll just say it if it just slipped but i don't like to use it either.

I hate it! Especially from women. I have a name, use it! lol My generation uses "buddy" a lot and it drives me nuts when a women says "hey buddy". I don't say anything to them, but I hate it. I guess I see it as disrespectful (even though that's probably not the intention?), because they don't bother to know/say my name.

If its how the girl spoke before you met get used to it. Kind of like an introductory name. If she had a nickname when you first met her you might get stuck calling her that. If she was using slang like dude or bro its habitual. Just get used to it. No one is perfect. Except for Donald Trump. But thays gonna end him up in jail. Dont expect perfection.
