I had a dream that my dad was trying to kill me and my brother?

OK so I'll start with the fact that I have a really bad relationship with my dad and I hate him and I haven't seen him since Easter.

So me and my brother were just sitting in his truck and he was shooting at some things outside, then he shot the front window in the truck and me and my brother ducked and he just kept shooting until he opened my door and held the gun at my face..then I woke up because my arms were numb from the way they were positioned :-(

has anyone else had dreams like this? Or anything related to this? Like is it normal? :-/

Its nothing to be worried about.

In terms of Freudian dream interpretation it means that you have been going through some pretty tough times lately and that dreaming about your father (a power figure) in that premise means that you may be very reliant on others recently. Sitting in a car is a symbol for your body and for the fact that someone was trying to shoot you means that there is a part of you emotionally that you fear losing or might lose.

I've had a dream everyday the past week that I am Lois Lane & Superman is saving me from a terrible place full of terrible people. I don't think Superman is going to save me anytime soon, so I concur that dreams are only the imagination going haywire :D

i think death dreams means the complete opposite, that something happy will happen
