Why would a lot of guys look you up and down?

I was walking with a guy friend (we were looking for a place to eat) and I noticed a lot of guys looking me up and down. I wasn't wearing anything revealing or inapproppriate so why were they staring at me like that?

They see some of you (your face or your silhouette usually) and they like what they see so far, so they want to see the rest. Generally it means that they find you physically attractive.

What you are wearing doesn't matter much (unless it's really revealing, in which case you will get a lot more overtly sexual responses), as guys are very practiced at looking past clothes and figuring out what the girl looks like underneath.

It's called scanning. It usually happens when they see your face. They then try to get the whole picture so they will scan the rest if you. Top down then right back up.

I think it's them looking for potential targets. I'd say it's a good thing if it were one guy. In this case I don't it means much other than those guys sizing you up.

People do this to me, but usually in disgust because they hate me or finds me unattractive.
But maybe he was checking you out.

Well if you passes someone you find attractive, psychologically you check them out. Girls do it to guys passing by they find attractive just as much as guys passing by girls they find attractive.

It's called a scan, guys do that to check the "qualities" of a girl, this would include their breasts, butt, face, hair, legs and probably hips. So in order to check all of it you need to go from the bottom to the top.

Probably because you have a cute face, maybe a nice ass and nice enough size tits for them to notice even if you were wearing clothes that weren’t too revealing.

They were just checking u out. Boys have one simple rule if they see girl they check out. Very few will even try to approach to if they find you attractive.
