Trending & News Because what is the biological purpose of a male? It's a competition to reproduce the most. A man who draws more attention from women has thereby proved that his genes are more desirable than other mens'. He is "winning" this biological game of "survival of the fittest."
Conversely, why are women called sluts? What is a woman's biological job? Also to reproduce. But, they have a different resource: eggs. So how would one best use an egg?
Sperm is a low value, yet unlimited resource. It's low value because there is an unlimited amount.
Eggs are a high value, yet limited resource. It's high value because there is a limited amount. Supply and demand.
How would you make the most money on each of these? If you had a low value resource, you would sell as much of it as possible.
If you had a high value resource, but a low supply, you would hold out and sell only if you get an equally high price. I. e. If you're a male, your job is to "spend" as much sperm as possible, to boost human population. If you're a female, your job is to "hold out" until you get the best price.
Yes, we have 7 billion people. Population is an issue in the opposite way. But our instincts are old. Last they checked, there were only 10,000 humans on the planet, and in danger of extinction.
Humans don't think particularly well. We act more on instinct than anything else. Most people don't realize that. But we're more like observers, than actors. Capable of transcending, probably. But, in the end, we're just animals.
Women are the gatekeepers of sex and men are the seekers. This makes the act of getting sex a challenge for men and merely a decision for women. If a man can't get a woman to agree to sex then that man couldn't conquer the challenge and is seen as a loser. When a woman remains a virgin it is not seen as her failing a challenge, it is seen as her choosing not to have sex.
If any woman really wanted to lose her virginity then she could do so within a week by going on a dating app and propositioning men. The same can't be said for men if they aren't a player.
actually I know the answer to my question. I just want to sound funny./ That losing amkes you a loser and not keeping it. Keeping your virginity makes you a keeper. 😁
Are you 18-24 because it looks like you are in your 30s.
Keeping your virginity absolutely makes you a keeper.(I know I am taking you literally again but I did get the joke lol) The more sexual partners somebody has the less oxytocin their brain creates in relationships. Oxytocin is essentially the love chemical of the brain, so more oxytocin = more love.
I am 24 turning 25 later this month.
That's true because I get goosebumps at the very thought of having a first date. I am afraid I will go insane when I fall in love. I will fall in love like a teenager because I haven't "used" the amount of my love yet
No clue. Personally, I find it kind of hot? Like the idea of being a guys first, it's nice. I mean guys who are experienced are hot too, because they don't need to learn as much.. Guys are just hot? I guess is my point? I like guys. They're fun. Virigins or not. I certainly don't see virgins as losers any more than non-virgins.
I agree. All of a sudden if you dont keep up with society and their crappy standards , you are labelled a loser, a freak, etc
Yep, which is why I begin to understand people who live as hermits.
@Trollfather yep
I personally think it's awesome that a guy doesn't sleep around with just any girl !!!

Where do I begin?
Based on the generalisations that lie in basic biology between the sees, it's the male imperative to spread his seed and reproduce with as many females as possible to pass on his genes.
However, it's the female imperative to select the mate she can find with the best genes since she has a finite amount of eggs. This explains why females are more picky when it comes to mate selection.
Males who are unable to find a mate are deemed genetic failures since no females wilfully wants his genes for their egfs.
So being a virgin as a man indicates there MUST BE SOMETHING INCREDIBLY WRONG WITH HIM for no woman to want actually have sex with him and the older he gets, they more true.
This makes him a loser.
Female virgins on the other hand are not held to this esteem as much since it's accepted that men are horndogs thus it's easy for a women to get casual sex easily from a man even if she was a virgin.
It's the reason for this stud/slut phenomenon.
I'm a male virgin myself and I accept this reality. I don't mind being called a loser because of this fact as it is what it is.
Hope this helped!
Not necessarily. I man may choose to remain virgin rather than go whoring if he hasn't found the right woman.
I think it's western culture stupidity that has spread this idea of the virgin loser.

@Trollfather I actually agree. I gave a very generalised response. I personally don't want to lose it to just anyone, and if a girl doesn't value that she can gtfo.
Most are, no? It depends on whether they want to lose their virginity or not. Some might just refuse to play the game -- like voluntary celibates. But I dunno what else to call incels except "losers" -- not in any derogatory sense, but more like if someone enters a race hoping to win, and they don't win any medal, they have lost.
Like calling someone a loser if they don't have a job -- not in any derogatory sense, but that's assuming they wanted a job and couldn't get one, so they kind of lost the competition. It doesn't seem so offensive to me from that respect. Of course if they don't want to work and just enjoy being jobless, then I don't think it makes sense to call them losers, since they weren't even trying to play the game.
From my standpoint "loser" is not a rude thing to label someone who has tried to get something they wanted in a competition and didn't win any prize. But I do think it is bad to treat them in a mean way because of that. I think we should encourage them and teach them how to start winning. But I don't think saying someone who has "lost" in a competition is a "loser" is such a bad thing provided we don't humiliate them for that. I do not agree with this whole participation trophies idea.
I do think it is very bad and stupid to call someone who doesn't even want to have sex and voluntarily chooses to be virgins "losers". Because they aren't competing at all. In the US I got teased a bit for being a virgin and I think I got called "loser" sometimes, but in my case it made sense and I didn't mind because I really wanted to have sex... not just sex but I wanted to feel affection and intimacy and love with a girl, and I was so bad at that at the time. When I started to improve my skills, I started to finally get dates.. and in retrospect I was a "loser" back then, in all honesty.. not because I was a virgin but because I was a virgin who wanted to fall in love and have sex and lacked the skills to compete and win.
In retrospect I wish more people called me loser back then, because I didn't get called it enough to really register that this is a skill-based activity. I thought I could just be myself, shy and antisocial and awkward, and just get the girl I wanted and was crushing on in some magical fairy tale fashion. It was only when I realized that this is a competition, and I have to develop skill, that I started to find my wishes coming true.
And that made so much sense when it finally dawned on me, because I was an athlete and into lots of other competitive skill-based activities I did understand training in a most dedicated way to improve a skill. I just didn't apply that to charming women. When it finally dawned that this is a skill-based competition with clear winners and losers, it helped everything. I started training my skills to charm women all the time, practicing as much as I could anywhere I could, and I got so, so, so, so much better, and quickly, when all I had to do was realize that.
I don't think I could have found my wife let alone getting any dates in between if I didn't realize that this was a skill-based competition and if I didn't develop those skills. I might still be a lonely and desperate virgin. When I finally realized that, it gave me all the motivation to improve and improve my skills. Some people might be born naturally gifted and so socially appealing that the advice, "Just be yourself and you'll find someone special" applies to them. I wasn't born so lucky. I was awkward, shy, scared of rejection, couldn't even talk to a girl I liked without uttering a clear sentence. I had to change myself, train myself, as was familiar to me as a competitive athlete, to start improving and improving to the point where I could actually ask out a girl I liked and get a "yes". So again I don't think it's right to call someone who doesn't want love and sex a loser, and I don't think we should treat losers badly.. we should help them.
But I don't see what's so bad to call somebody, as I was in my awkward teenage years, a "loser".. I really needed that, provided we clarify that this is a competition, that they need to develop skills, and ideally offer to help them to develop that skill. I didn't understand why I was being called a "loser" back then, since I thought I could date any girl I wanted, that stars would align, magic would happen, and we would get together like some rom-com. I had no idea that you need skill for this.
Again excluding the people who don't want to fall in love and lose their virginity, I think it makes sense.. but again we should be kind to the people who lost and help them win the next time if they want to keep competing. I don't think we should hand them some consolation prize like a participation trophy and call them "winners". That would have been detrimental to my development. It is like telling a boxer he doesn't have to train and that all he needs is to be himself and believe in himself in the ring and he will win. And maybe for super talented boxers, they might be able to win without ever training. But most of us need to train. And that's all I needed to know! I missed out on a love life throughout my whole teenage years because I didn't know that. I was like the boxer who didn't think you had to train for a fight.
Once I learned to train, it started to become so easy! I was getting dates, girlfriends, falling in love, everything I ever wanted, and so quickly when I just made that realization to train every day like I would as an athlete. It actually seemed soooo easy! That's all I had to realize. It's like I had it in me to become a boxing champion all along, but the reason I wasn't winning any fights is because I believed, due to some romantic fantasy ideas, that the metaphorical boxer doesn't need to train for a fight. And once I dispelled that illusion, my life turned upside down. I used to think it was impossible to get a date. When I realized and embraced the training mindset, it became so ridiculously easy to get a date that it seemed so ridiculous that I was making it hard for myself. But again the idea of this being a skill-based competition and what "loser" really means needs clarification for those who were confused like me.
Those with sexual experience like to look down on those that do not.
They regard their sexual conquests and relationship experience as a measure of their success and maturity.
They therefore regard virgins as failures because they would regard themselves as failures in that position.
They are called losers mostly by other guys who tend to see sex as winning
Never thought of it like that - Very good - Seriously to me as bad as hassling someone over their sexuality, they are either unlucky or have a legitimate reason to be still a virgin
It's because some guys like to judge their worth by how many woman they could hook up with they think the more they get with the better they are and virgins are at the very bottom of the list for them.
Ikr.
I`ve said this before. Why is a girl being a virgin praised, but guys that are still virgins being laughed at and what not.
Because girls can get sex any time they want. Guys have to put some effort into it.
Because people are ignorant, and strive for the worthless things in life.
Because for them, it's a race. But people who shame are losers.
Its only an accusation never a truth to each his own
Because some people think that sex is a hobby.
because i used to think like you long time ago
Boys like to mess with other boys.
How much time you can protect it
Depends on how long my armor lasts.
