Girl is being coy with me...

So this girl I've been working with this girl the past 3 years and just recently we've been talking to each other non-stop. just a few days ago, I told her that I liked her, she told me that she was glad I told her and that she loved how understanding I was of her being busy all the time (because of school and work, she is extremely busy, its the primary reason we haven't really hung out, except for at work of course)and that she loved having me as a friend, and I told her the same. even though I told her how I feel, I still feel as if I left out in the open, and still don't know how she truly feels. I've decided to play this out and see what happens, but I thought I would get some other peoples opinion.

Hey, if she liked you she'd arrange her plans and make/let something happen. It's good that she's in school and working - sounds like an educated type of girl.

But even so, even if I'm really busy most of the time, but I want to see a girl, I'll slide her in for a night or two during the week.

I found someone's blog post a while ago, and he wrote a crazy story of how him (guy 1) and his friend (guy 2) got a number from a pretty girl once. The friend (guy 2) called this girl up and asked what she was up to later, and wanted to hang out with her. She declined and said she was busy. She couldn't make it.

Low and behold, the other guy (2) exchanged a few friendly messages, and said he's free for a bit tonight. She responded with 'yeah, let's go out!'

Now, in my honest opinion here, who knows where she stands. She may like you just as a friend, or perhaps she has some attraction built to consider something more. You've been texting and talking non-stop which IS a good thing, but the failure to meetup and see each other in person sucks. So since you do want this girl, and believe she's worth it, keep up the interactions and try to get her to hangout. It doesn't hurt. She's playing 'hard-to-get'. Be patient, however, give her a timeframe as well. If nothing happens within six months, take your leave.

I'm the type of guy who's spontaneous. In other words, I'm very impatient. If a hang-out doesn't happen within the next month, I usually stop the pursuit and let HER come to me with an offer on her terms while I find other girls who are more receptive and open to seeing me.

So if I were you, I'd keep this girl as a big prospect. But in the meantime, search for other girls. Particularly ones you meet out in public at any place, anytime. Having a handful of options really helps.

Notice the things this girl said: "i love how you understand I am always pressed for time" and "I love having you as a friend". If a girl wants to hangout with you, believe me, she will make it happen. Since you guys just started talking recently, and you already admitted to liking her, it may have surprised her a bit and made her unsure of how she feels toward you. Nothing to be worried about, she clearly likes your company and your personality, but maybe she might just be sorting out what emotions she has and isn't ready to make a firm decision on whether or not she wants you as her boyfriend. Just keep wooing her and stay friendly. Be a positive influence in her life and her attraction toward you will grow with time. Charm also works wonders on girls.

well, I can honestly say, I've been extremely patient with her, mostly, because I think she is worth it, so we'll see
