Guys, Is it weird that I’m a little upset he didn’t wish me good luck for my first day?

I had my first day at a new job yesterday. The guy I’m seeing had a big interview the same day. I wished him luck the day before but got nothing in return.

At around 7:15 last night, after the day was over, I received a, “How was the first day?” text, but I‘m still a little hurt that that was it.

Am I being petty?
