Why is men's body hair considered bad nowadays?

Back in the day having a hairy body for men was seen as masculine and attractive, not extremely hairy like a gorilla but for example, today most Hollywood actors have a shaven body, yet back in the day most had a hairy body and it was seen as a good thing. E. g back in the day Sean Connery was seen as an attractive actor by many girls yet he had a very hairy body. So what happened?

Because to me it’s unattractive unless you have hair on the legs, arms, and only a little on the chest is fine. Another exception is the face and ofc hair on the head. As for private’s I’m not going to mention that just bc I’d like to keep it pg

that doesn't even make sense, every person has a caloric requirement of at least 1300 calories per day...
under eating also isn't an attractive thing to do... low on nutrients, low on energy, skinny and frail... not sportive and active.. ya just no lol

its still unattractive when a person can't properly feed themselves, male or female but a bit more for women

Why a bit more for women? I've rarely seen women who can't cook but I've seen way too many men who can't even make a sandwich

I guess cause women are generally a bit more nurturing, empathetic, and usually spend more time with her kids because she gave birth to them

Well, babies are breastfed or drink milk which isn't cooked... and when they're old enough I can cook for them since i already enjoy cooking. I find it attractive and I love it when i cook for a woman

Back hair, armpit hair and chest hair are pretty disgusting.
But if chest hair and armpit hair are well groomed, I see no issue in that. I don't grow chest or back hair, so I'm just fine.
