Guys, when a guy likes a girl does he ever skip days in texting her?

I was the last one to text, we were both out in different places Saturday night and sent a couple texts, he asked where I was at.. but didn't reply to me.

Would it look desperate for me to text, I don't know if I've put him off me because he still hasn't texted, or he's just keeping it casual, we have only recently started texting

If I text someone and they text me back instantly my phone doesn't make a sound so I end up missing the text and sometimes hours go by before text messaging back. There could be many reasons he didn't text you back. If I liked the girl than it doesn't matter how many times she text messages me, I won't think she's desperate. It actually takes a lot for a guy to think a girl is desperate.

sometimes I'll randomly decide I'm not gonna text for a day to see if she'll text first. it you want to do it jsut do it. no real reason to fret over it, sometimes we read texts then are tied up in somehting and utterly space them.

yeah, sure we do. it's not bad, as that a few guys think texting every day is a sign of desperation and having to much time on there hands.
