I usually remember the traits, like some people scratch when nervous or touch nose or divert eyes when talking about something. That is individuals way of body language.

Some people smirk when they are controlling a smile, or when trying to fake a smile or find something amusing. It can be anything.

It was like a play it cool smirk, this person plays it cool one minute and then the next wanting to be helpful and start small talk with me. Smiles here and there.
