I can't speak for what others might say though, but I will not condemn you if you think you have a valid reason for thinking that way.

But, nor may I agree with you, depending on what aspects you bring up because I think there may be a couple of ways that woman are made to serve a man when we do it of our own free will, although maybe the word "serve" is not a good one because it gives the connotation of being a slave, which we are not.

A. OMG, YES! Some guys definitely think that we are to be their slaves, sexually and in many other ways!

B. Yes, some guys act like that without realizing it, even though they don't really mean to be that way

C. No, I totally respect women! I don't think that any woman is meant to be my slave but there are certain roles that we each play that are catergorized that way, maybe falsely

D. Yes, I admit it! ... I think that women are designed, and built, to serve a man, first in bed and then in many other ways, no question about it!

I'm sure there are people who think that. Both men and women think that way. However I've never met a man or women either one who was so extreme to think it's the sole purpose of a woman.

I grew up in the 50s and 60s when virtually all marriages were traditional (at least where I lived). The husband was the breadwinner, and the wife was a housewife. The parents of every kid I knew were like that, with no exceptions. But I don't think any of them ever thought of it as the woman serving the man. They had complimentary roles, and each accepted his or her role.

Where I live, traditional marriages are still very common, probably close to half are traditional. But I think if anyone tried to tell those women that their purpose in life was to serve their man, they'd either knock your head off, or just laugh in your face. Just because she cooks and cleans doesn't mean she's going to put up with anybody's shit.

I've known some men who were domineering and thought their word was God. But most men like that are domineering with other men too - what we generally call assholes.

It depends on what you mean by serve. If you mean like a servant or subordinate then no. That is wrong. What it means for a couple to serve each other is to help each other, encourage each other and be accountable to each other. To serve is to do something loving. God created woman to HELP man, not be a servant. Now the man is designed to be in charge and lead his family and protect them, but that does not make him her superior. Man is nothing without woman and vice versa. We need each other.
I agree that there are men who think of women in a servitude sense, but I do not agree WITH them. These are men that get the Bible wrong. The Bible even tells men in Collosians 3:19 "Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them" and in Proverbs 18:22 "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord". It is clear that men are ordered to defend and honor their wives, not abuse them or make them feel lesser. The only clear instance in the Bible where the man is the head is in terms of ensuring the household is provided for and in keeping the family in line with God. Many men interpret the Bible to mean men as superior to women, but that is not true.

Back when I was in highschool, I knew an Indian guy who we'll call "Drew." Drew was the most self absorbed, greedy, materialistic person I've ever met. Back before things got really weird with him because of drugs, he and I had taken a trip to a neighboring state to visit some of his family's friends and eat some slammin' Indian food at a restaurant the friends owned.

I'll never forget this conversation we had in this person's living room:
Me: I noticed that women and girls always eat after we do. Is that like a cultural thing?
Drew: Yeah man, Indian women bring the food to men first, so they can talk business, socialize, be comfortable.

Drew: Nope, women do all that shit. We don't have to worry about it.

I mean, heck, this very site has several women who have gone into threads, talking crap about men. In reality, I am attracted to women who are self confident, bright and know what they want. They celebrate their femininity, love men, can be tender, empathetic and caring, even maternal, but don't put up with people's crap. Men don't intimidate them. I've rarely had any issues with division of labor in my relationships. She may do more of the work IN the house, but I usually do the outside stuff - mowing the law, fixing the sprinklers, cleaning the rain gutters, working on the cars, etc., plus the household repairs. I just replaced two faucets and the drain in the tub and hung some new blinds, but I do electrical or wood work or whatever else needs to be done.

I've spent plenty of years single over the years, and I manage just fine doing my own laundry and cooking my own meals, but it's much nicer to cook for more than just yourself, and I appreciate when she does those things. I also pay for virtually every date or meal or event (movies, concerts, amusement parks, etc.).

I'm sure there are some lazy guys who abuse the situation, just as there are some lazy girls who do the same. You're an idiot of you stay with those people, but they aren't likely to change.

Not to the extremity of what you think, but I do believe men are more biologically equipped to handle the finances, prestige of the family, and overall dominating the relationship, family, and leading the way. Women are typically more nurturing than men, so they make a great addition to the her man and the team. This stems from our biological roots. Women can do whatever they wish though. If they believe a family dynamic and relationship works best differently, then I won’t date them. Not a big deal. They can date someone who shares three same values.

Interesting how you unwittingly made plain the Arabic slave trade, which traded not only Sub-Saharan (black) Africans, but white Europeans as well.
These pictures may piss you off, but wealthy women also traded slaves, or were married to the men who dealt in this; so, you're just as guilty, or at least complicity, from a gender standpoint.

Largely back in the day, in the Greek, Roman and English empires that's exactly how they were treated. Even when they "founded the U. S." women were largely here to serve, or service a woman. That was the main thing for all those culture. It wasn't until some women had enough and pushed back that it changed. Men western culture men would have kept it the same way, they have no respect for them. Just like slavery, it would still be going on today if the North wasn't jealous and tried of the South having all the money and industry, started a war, and "freed the slaves" because it would hurt there economy.

In some ways a woman should serve her man, and in some ways a man should serve his woman. But a man who goes around just expecting women to make his needs their sole fixation in life, then he's a dumbass loser and deserves fuck all, which is what he'll amount to in the end.
