Why did he say he would text me but didn't?

My crush and i had set a date to go on a date and i asked him to let me know asap what time because i need to work that day. Its been 2 WEEKS. We are supposed to go on our date in 4 2 days. He still hasn't texted me. I dont wanna seem like im running after him but im getting annoyed that i can't make concrete plans for that day. Should i text him and ask whats up? At this point i dont even know if the date going to even happen. I've posted social media updates which he has seen in hopes of him remembering to text me... NOTHING. What to do?

He is just not into you. Like u said, crush. How long have u known him? Men have 2 reasons only why u are stood up.

1) u are the back up plan. He is interested in someone else but that someone else is putting him on hold. So, he does that to u.

2) he might have a gf/wife. So, the long reply from him.

Nowadays, with technology, it is wise to check up on him before plunging into anything. If ot happens he has a gf/wife/partner etc, u are just destroying another's woman happiness and that's not cool.

Hmm... but for him to stood u up that's already a red flag. Unless the reason is really reasonable. If a man really like somebody and looking forward to meeting her, he will not do such a thing. If he is just using u, u should know. If u keep asking yourself why why why. Is simple. He is not that into u. Sorry. U might wanna just forget him. Even if he looks for u, keep an open mind. Don't be indirect with posts to stories and such, that won't get your point across. ask about it and see if you can make legitimate plans, and if not and he keeps making excuses, you may have to move on to somebody else.
