Have you every been afraid to talk to your crush?

I’ve been dating this guy for about 4 months, he’s liked me for quite sometime (about 2 years prior). Even though we are mutual he said that he feels more comfortable texting because he is scared to talk to me. What does that mean? He does talk to other girls just fine but when me and him talk he becomes awkwardly quiet, has this ever happened to you guys? He doesn’t really know why he is scared and we’re slowly fixing it, I just want to know the psychology behind it.

The thing is, he might just be scarred to say something wrong. Talking to other girls might be diffrent because he doesn't have the feelings he hase for you towards them. The stronger the emotions the stronger the fear to lose...
