Do you find confidence intimidating?

Okay so, I met this guy last year who seemed pretty cool, we use to have lunch sometimes and stuff. But back then, I was insecure and tend to hang out with many people, even tho they weren’t my cup of tea.. the thing is this year I’ve became more confident, and proud of that.. but I’ve realized I’ve lost many friends, and when I walk by or see this guy from last year, he sorta just stops like surprised then continues walking.. I’m not sure what that means. But what I’m basically asking is, is confidence intimidating? I personally find it attractive, what do you think? Thank you for your opinions :)

Being cool, calm, collected is being grounded in objective reality, and steadily and effortlessly letting manipulation attempts pass through.

Knowledge and wisdom are key. On their foundation, negativity and it's root are immediately apparent and the suffering they cause understood, enabling one to love instead of proceeding with hate/-insert negative reaction- which would arise due to resonance with whatever negative vibe attempts to gain hold of you.

Thus, a truly confident person instils confidence in those around him or her.

It depends, for some confidence can come across as arrogance and that's a massive turn off for most people.

I'm one of those who is confident but had to learn the difference between the two, often one thinks that what they display is a confident attitude but it's actually an arrogance that others perceive and it's a fine line to walk between the two.

Nah, ironically I don't have much confidence socially but i'm fine with other people having it because really I need people who will make plans and conversations. I'm just happy to do and say nothing, simply because i'm always content as opposed to being actually meek.

Obviously you are off putting. It’s not confidence its something else you are doing. Don’t just call it confidence and say that is the treason people don’t like you. It’s something else

It's nlt confidence he was just surprised to see yiu. And no confidence isn't intimidating it's a good thing to have. BUT there's a difference between confidence and arrogance and a lot of women can't differentiate between the two

Many people dont have confidence I personally dont find it intimaditing but many do... Why? I dont know

Confidence is definitely an attractive quality, but at the same time, OVERCONFIDENCE is a serious turn off for many people
