Is a guy interested if he keeps glancing but has no facial expressions?

There is this guy at the gym and we have been exchanging looks for months but he has not approached me. We happen to go at the same time, both have our headphones on but I keep catching looks. Since he has not approached me, I cannot tell what is going on? I am self conscious that it is all in my head since he is fit and I am not. I have been back at the gym for nearly a year and have lost a bunch of weight. I focus on my workout and am there to make myself heathier and lose weight so I try to discourage conversation in general but I do talk to people there.

If he hasn't approached you at all, your guess is as good as anyone else's. There is a good possibility that he, at the very least, finds you attractive. People generally don't like to put too much attention into things that don't interest them. If you're that curious, maybe say hi or strike up a conversation? Otherwise, I'd take it at face value since you mentioned that your focus is on working out.

Take your headphones out next time you catch eye contact with him. Headphones = dont talk to me. Personally i don’t as a rule approach girls have headphones on.
