I've got no problem with getting older.
What bothers me is that it certainly feels like people around me are losing common sense and acting off their guts rather than basic logic.
"Anyone should be able to marry anyone!" YET "polygamy is wrong".
"Men and women should have SEPARATE gym times!" YET "Well, who cares about men's safety, it's for women to be safe!" YET "I wore this for my boyfriend to go to the gym, do I look sexy?"
"You should able to just SAY what gender you want to be, it doesn't matter!" YET "why didn't the cops arrest that pervert that walked into the women's bathroom?"
"Trump should be impeached, he insults people!" YET Obama can go on national TV and call Kanye West a jackass and get applauded.
Or my personal favorite...
"I'm a FEMINIST, screw men!" YET "I hate that our culture makes me miss men's attention"

What I am not liking is the sensation of time is, really speeding up which makes me feel that life is passing me up a bit... where did my life go?
For example... when I was 20...15 seemed like ages before. 5 years felt as if I had lived a lot, 5 years felt like 5 years.
If I thought back to being 10... it seemed ions back. Some other life... other reality.
These chunks of time...5, 10 seemed to have weight, considerable time had passed. I felt as if I lived A LOT during that span.
Now, I think of something I did at 20...9 years prior and it feels as if that just happened, it feels like a year ago. I am shocked by how elapsed time just whizzes by. Someone hit the FF on my life and it is flying by faster now.
Mixed feelings, lol. It's kind of scary because I'll be 25 this year and that kind of feels like the "I'm not young anymore" age (though I know that's not true, but it sure feels like it!), but at the same time I am hopeful that my future is going to be bright and that I'll enjoy life much more as I get older, like my parents. I honestly think my teens and 20's have been the biggest joke ever (though my 20's less so than my teens) and I'm hoping getting older will be nice!
It's kind of sad in a way too, because it's a sign that time is going by way too fast and I'm starting to see more of the people, animals, places, and things I love come to their end. Goodbyes always suck, it's sad to finally be at the age where pretty much all of the animals I grew up with are gone, and I've never been big on change and hate seeing so much of it.
I can't wait to see myself age. I'm trying to do my best to take care of how I age though! So I wanna see how it turns out.
Maybe I can be that sexy older woman who the guys turn their heads to, but walks faithfully back to her partner everytime.

It's been shit, thanks for asking.
Lol, what parts? My least favorite part of growing up is paying bills.
That's very true! I finally decided to stop trying to be everything to everyone and it's a lot easier.
I mean, don't give up the important things, just find something in your life that can be put aside for a little bit so you can breathe easy.
I get cake so I like it u. u
When I was little I used to be around my elder cousins a lot. I used to be like "They must be so wise and smart and grown up."
Then I turned 18 and things didn't change. I was like well maybe something will change when I turn 19. I'm 19 and still NOTHING HAS CHANGED. I still don't feel what I thought I'd feel. I still forget my age sometimes. Like when I'm buying booze I think I'm 16 or 17 and panic when they ask me for my id card. 😂😂
The other day, I was goofing around and I said "Mom, I'm such a kid." and she said "We all are. Don't worry about being like that."
Maybe I'll have complexes when I get older. Like my hair will be grey and I'll have serious work and bills to pay. So yeah when I'll be like 30+ things will be different, I suppose.
It's really not that different tbh lol. Sure most people have more responsibilities, bills to pay etc. That's about it. I still think I'm 21 in my head. I'm still working like I did 10 years ago. And I'll still be doing it in 10 years time.
I dunno, it is what it is. Growing old isn't a big deal, but I don't wanna BE old lol.
I am the youngest of 6 and after one of my birthdays ( which is before my 5 siblings birthday ) my sister Joyce asked me how it felt to be the age I just changed to and I said - I did not know for it was my first time of being that age - ! I should have asked Joyce how it felt to be 13 years older then me and dress like an immoral woman and act like it too but I did not ask her that ! getting older is a part of life and wisdom comes with age so getting older is cool ! thanks
How I feel about getting older? Well, first of all I'm in denial. Lol.
No, honestly this question had been going through my mind A LOT this last well the realization that I'm going to be 37 f&$:+&$# years old on Monday and I'm far from being where I wanna be in life is time I really make some big choices to curve my life to where I want it to be. It won't be easy but I know it's what's best for my two boys future. You don't even realize it but after 18 years old passes the time just good by. It's so hard to believe and accept I'm almost 40...
I don't stress on it, it's just revolutions around the sun on a big metal ball and it's a heck of a ride.
It gets better in some ways and tougher in others, take it day by day. I think age is a lot mental, but there is certainly physical reality... it's harder to stay in shape now. I thought 40 was tough and 53 is tougher. But you adjust.
I'm told I'm young... by 70 yr olds... ugh... you get about 40 more or so...
Honestly, my life is just becoming better and better. I have such a clear and concise understanding of myself that I’ve never had before. I know my flaws, and how to deal and work around them. I know my strengths, and how to capitalize on them. I know what I like and don’t like in a relationship. I know where my values are. Everything is just clear to me, and it’s a great feeling. Also, establishing myself and having money makes a huge difference as well. I look forward to my 30s as I believe those are the prime years of a mans life. 50+ is when you start declining, but then you get to look forward to opening up your IRA/401k and just set life in cruise control with your wife.
I’m very excited for my 20s, I feel as if those will be my best and most memorable years. But for now I have to enjoy my last 20 days of being sixteen💓
Enjoy them! Even though I am saying that getting older is perfectly fine, you will look back at this time in your life and miss it every once in a while.
i can't stay awake through the night like i used to.
if i did, my back might aching, and probably fallen asleep on my desk.
I had a moment the other day at work where I looked over at my coworker and said, "Ooo, that's new. I didn't know that could hurt there." 😂
😂 just like now if you trip and fall, instantly down for a week with back pain.
so just to start... im 53.. ok so i felt like that at 30 and i think every one does but my 40th was a milestone only in that other people made it one and by 50 i really couldnt care less about numbers... from other people i speak too around my age they experienced the same thing too. the secret is to never stand still or get stuck in a period of time.
It's just a number till your body gives up on you. I feel better now than i was 10 years younger, i have more energy than i had when i was 22. I look better now than i was young specially my physique. Many asks me how it feels and i always answer with great, the older i get the more i know, the more i learn, the more i get, the more i can give.
Umm, the feeling is depressing but I try not to let it bother me that much
What about it is depressing? As in is it because of responsibility, hanging out with friends, physical?
Do you ever think about the things you worried about 10 years ago and realize how silly it was? I promise that in 10 years you will do the same thing about your worries today. Breathe, laugh, be silly, and love as much as you can (not just physically).
Of course!
You're welcome
I absolutely hate it, but its better to get old than die young.
but getting older i find quite worrying considering i'm not anywhere i want to be in life.
I feel that way sometimes too. But then there's those tiny moments when you look at somebody or something and you think, "Every bad decision I have made is what made this moment happen."
I'm not where I want to be either, but I wouldn't change it for the world.
I don’t mind it. I have friends who are freaking out and talking about Botox and things but I don’t care about that. I like my life and I’m excited about what’s to come.
Oh fuck i hate getting older its instinctual. Maybe also you look good for hitting 40. Some people ending looking like pizza dough already at their late 30s because they no longer care.
I felt bad at my 15th birthday like shit and wished i never get old.
There are so many things we can do to age slower and regenerate. Most people age fast due to deficiency in key minerals and low collagen levels. You can even regenerate thinning hair. Prescription medications also play a part. People only use them because they are brain washed into believing in them due to money and patents.
I'm having another birthday in two weeks. Seems like I've had a birthday every month for the last 20 years.
However, my sex life has never been hotter and wilder. And i still dominate playing basketball against guys half my age.
So figure I'll go out with a bang or swwwisssh.
It depends. If you are in your 30's or 40's and have a job and family, then you'd be looking forward to getting older. But if you are jobless, single and still living at home. Then of course you would stress out all the time. Even on your birthday.
i will be 50 in 3 years ad i dont really think about it , but when it hits me i will be 5 decades old i think about everything i have seen and been through. and it just seems things are going by way to fast.
So far no complaints, well, other than still having my period, getting older is just fine. Age is just a number, I have more money in the bank than I did at 21, I have a husband, and I am closer to retirement age, though that is still 20 years away.
Terrible frightened and scared and apprehensive of course but what’s the alternative?
I feel the same to be honest. you never feel that different maybe you get a few extra pains here and there, but if you can have people who are like 90 years old doing marathons who am I to complain.
I stress out about it only in terms of dating and finding a partner. I do like getting older but that will stop once I hit 25
Actually, older dating is way better if you're honest. You get all the bull crap out of the way quicker.
Frankly I have never felt any different. 30 came... no big deal. Same with 40. 50 will be here soon enough. Just another day. No big deal.
Getting old is the goal. The trick is to have as much fun as possible while doing the least harm.
Honestly I am nervous. I am 27 and haven’t done a lot of things I want to do like travel sky diving strip clubbing etc. Also I am not financially stable so I am scared to be getting old
I felt very down when I turned 30 like it was the end of an era or something. In reality of course nothing change.
You're only as old as you feel, the number doesn't mean much to me.
Good answer Brittany
I'm 58 and I feel the same as I did in my 20s and 30s, my 40s were bad due to health issues. I am healthy now and ready for more...
It does get less fun as I get older, but I always enjoy a good birthday party.
If there’s no gifts but still cake, I might say I was “justhereforthefood”.
Same age, and I haven’t had any stress about that yet. I stress about other shit for sure. I guess I see it as every year, medical science prolongs our lives. We may be the generation that gets to upload their conscious to a computer.
Can’t wait, actually I can. I don’t have any feelings toward aging.
I feel like something wonderful is about to happen.
Shutting myself am only 23 and am already going bald and I found a white nose hair the other day
Your only as young as the girl you feel 😂😂its only a number it happens to us all
I feel old and ugly I guess 😂
Lol, I want to give you a like but somehow that would feel rude in this case 😂. I'll put it this way.
I hate mushrooms! Get it off my pizza and everything else that I eat!
My brother loves mushrooms on everything. Pretty sure he put them on his ice cream once.
I may not look young and attractive to you, but your sibling think I am sexy AF.
What I am so confused help me understand please 😱🤯
What I am trying say is there is no scale that rates how good you look because its not a measurable thing. It's an opinion.
When your parents say your ugly 😂 you eventually accept it.
You're*
I'm very sorry that happened to you. The people in this world that want you to feel like crap about yourself, are the ones that feel like crap about themselves. Misery loves company. I don't know what you look like so I can tell you what I think about you. But my suggestion is, dress up and make yourself look good to yourself. As soon as you feel like you look hot, go out there and show everybody who you are and your guy will come to you.
I don't wear makeup and I'm already married. And I have a photo on my display picture as well blurred out
It doesn't bother me in the slightest. But then again my birthday is just another day. And face it we can't stop time. So way bother worrying about it?
year closer to death, not looking forward to getting older
Used to bother me more, now I've got my race to think about and working for the ethnic state.
My biological clock is ticking...
What does my race have anything to do with the fact that my biological clock is tick tockin’? Are you only encouraging your own race to multiple?
And you don’t need marriage to pass on your DNA, and marriage is a holy sacrament I don’t believe in.
Multiply*
Thanks for the clarification... I’m trying to understand you, and I was about to really call you out.
I’m not, so don’t worry about it.
@On_cloud_wine Just wondered , you might have been going to call me out for "racism" but a civic nationalist would do that as well as a Marxist. I always check for Marxist indoctrination in people though. Never the less, I can't imagine you being too offended by anything I say , you should surly know by now how I think.
To a degree, yes... And just because I like you doesn’t mean I agree with you.
We’d make pretty babies... 🤰🏼
Ok just mail me your sperm and I’ll disappear for good. *tiCk TOck*
I can see why you would think that if I refuse to let you be apart of the baby’s life... how much money do you want?
You mean a first?
Great! One years less until I finally can retire! Woohoo!
When I was in my 20s. It didn't bother me, now bin in my 50s. It's a thing you start to notice. And the way you look at the future is different..
I don't care cause I will fuck anyone up regardless of my age. I'm a psycho.
Nah just kidding. Or am I?
Try SIXTY. Fukkin-A man. ;)
That's awesome! You've successfully cheated death for a long time! Keep it up!
For just hitting my mid 30s I feel pretty damn good about it. Hands down the best financial and career situation of my life. Women in their 20s throw themselves at me.
It's just a number and getting older is a part of life.
Happy, another year closer to a scotch birthday until it is a scotch birthday then it is scotch time
Not good. But hey... what're you gonna do, you know?
Age is just a number, you are only as old as you THINK YOU are...
Not me... I just accept the fact I'm going to die and just keep going. If I die I die end of story.
Im not stressed out about growing older but i am 27.
It bothered at 30. I'm stronger and more confident than I ever been at 50. A number to me.
I've been aging well and still look as good as I am now when I reach 40
I don’t care, it feels like I’m growing up so slowly
I have been aging like a fine wine.
🔸🧡🔸
True, you are absolutely stunning!!! 😊 keep the confidence up!
It’s way better than being dead.
Like running away from responsibilities
As long as I look good for my age I'm ok.
Hey, I hear ya. But if I'm 36 and look good for a 59 year old, I'll take it, lol. As long as someone out there thinks I'm hot.
😂😂😂🤣 🙈
I like getting older
What do you like about it?
It makes me feel closer to death
Damn sis
@QueenOfBaku What do you think comes after this life that you look forward to?
I'm gonna be pissed if I get to the pearly gates and he says, "Sorry, but the answer was Mormon."
"Shit!"
@justhereforthefood I don’t care what comes after this life. But I am done with this one
Well don't say that! If you look around for all the worst things in the world, I promise you that you will find them. Same goes for the good. Look for it try, try to find it. And if you don't see any around you, be the one that brings it there. I for one, plan to enjoy every last minute that I can.
I have no problem with my own life, everything is going well. But I know there are some people suffering horribly, there is no justice, governments are devils, world is a horrible place. That’s why I want to get older as much as I can and die.
Gal you need to read some Calvin and Hobbes, man. It'll help.
There's nothing to feel about getting older.
It honestly just upsets me
Scared
Let the good times roll
