+1 yIt doesn't really bother me. My hair started going gray at sixteen, and started receding (very slowly) at seventeen; life has NOT been kind to my telomeres. But I have previous generations to look back on the genetic example of: my hair will follow the same pattern as theirs; it'll go gray bit by bit, and then one day, pretty much overnight, I'll seem to do it all at once- probably somewhere around 40. But it won't be gray for long- it'll turn white. And then I'll pretty much be Santa Claus, so how bad can it be?

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yI try not to think about that and enjoy every seconds still in youth i have. When people say life is too short it rlly is- even now when i look back at when i was younger there's stuff i feel like i missed out or simply miss doing. Stuff i can’t do now, i’m graduating high school next year. I am freaking out, being on my own and nights of studying scare me. Bc i chose a career that is very demanding (which i love sooo much) but the process / journey is tough. And im already struggling mentally i just wonder how stressful when i get there. 1 more year 🙂😔.
Not me saying i don’t think about it and ending up overthinking it… anyways thats how i feel…22 Reply
Asker+1 yactually you're supposed to enjoy your life in every moment, stop chasing the future 100% which is now made you feel old and stressed out
Opinion Owner+1 yI kind of have to chase my future
I think it would remind me how long I've lived. Wrinkles will remind me of all the smiles I had and such. Growing old is normal. We're all gonna do it (unless we die before). You can't reverse the clock. I think we should accept the way we change as we age. The beauty industry makes men and women feel insecure about the way we look at all points in our life, but the desire to look younger is especially prominent.
I think we should just be human and accept how we naturally change. Something about face lifts and Botox doesn't sit well with me. But I don't know that's just me.00 Reply

I am 50 years old so it looks like I will get old sooner rather than later.10 ReplyEveryone should be hoping to grow old. One thing that I know that doesn't stop is time. Live your life and hope that you live long enough to do all the things that you want to do and have the joy of seeing your children and their children and maybe their children grow and be happy in life.

Well, I am not yet ready for it psychologically 🤣 But we have no choice, therefore it is better to adopt a certain philosophy to be able to accept these changes which are inevitable.
But I know some young people who have an "old spirit" and some old people who have an amazing alertness, an incredible zest for life, and well I want to try to become that kind of old people lol20 Reply- 317 opinions shared on Other topic.
