If a transgender female to male gets aggressive towards me, should I hit him?

I won’t hit a woman. I grew up fighting. I’ve fought men. It’s just a moral thing for me, sorry, I won’t hit a woman.

But I met a transgender female to male. And this FTM guy was doing what guys all over the world have done since human beings began existing. He started giving me an attitude and acting tough.

But like, I know this “guy” is actually just a female with a vagina. ‘He’ has skinny little stick arms, and unusually pretty eyes for a guy.

I know this person is actually a female regardless of what they think or feel.

So when this FTM, who is clearly plagued by the same societal standards all men are plagued by, that you have to be big strong and tough, started coming at me with the tough guy BS, I just ignored ‘him.’

I knew that if I were to respond, this ‘guy’ was going to get in my face and really act like ‘he’ could beat me up.

But I know that this ‘guy’ is just a girl. A small and weak and very frail girl. I could literally kill this person with one hand. Like it’s not a joke, if I wanted to I could easily send this ‘guy’ to the hospital or worse.

So what am I supposed to do when these trans female to males start getting brainwashed by society to act tough like other men do. I can’t believe I’ve even had this situation come up in my life but it is what it is. You’ve ingested toxic masculinity and now that you believe you’re a man, you need to act big and tough. But you’re still this weak little female who weighs like 90lbs and I’m a 200lb man who lifts weights and is trained in fighting and has been in many actual fights in real life.

Do I hit this fool? Do I teach ‘him’ a lesson? Or do I just treat him like I would treat a girl? Ignore the aggression and if you swing on me, just catch your weak punches and casually push you away cuz you’re weak and you can’t hurt me?

If he's not really a threat and you know you can kill him easily, don't apply 100% force as if the person was your same size. I don't think it's right when huge men beat up smaller, weaker guys either. It's also not right when large women beat up smaller, weaker girls either.

I don't care about gender but rather the circumstances, the opponent and if you have to hit because it's really in self-defense. Punching as hard as possible just to retaliate as first resort (when you could have gotten away or had other options) is wrong.

If he considers himself a man then yeah I suppose hit him. You have the right of self defense if he's being aggressive and he doesn't have an excuse of 'how can you hit a woman' cuz he doesn't view himself as one.

Personally a pacifist and believe that a better alternative is to attempt to talk and de-esculate, and otherwise shout for help and back off. Fighting being a last resort if someones going to get hurt if else, at which point it doesn't matter if they're a guy or a girl, just use enough force to prevent them from proceeding. Calling the police if it escalates to the point of violence is also a good idea.

Could you put a woman in a bodylock or maybe even a chokehold until she calms the fuck down? You don't have to squeeze that hard, just enough to maintain control.
