How do you know when a shy guy loses interest?

How do you tell the difference between a shy/nervous guy losing interest vs just becoming comfortable around you?

If you are more confident to go up to a girl and talk, but you don't flirt as obvious/awkwardly and you act more outgoing and friendly, would that be a sign of lost interest?

Usually getting comfortable and less nervous is because they think of you as a friend

Getting less nervous just means they're comfortable, but if they think you're attractive they could be interested too

If the shy guy is continuously talking to you and whatnot, he's probably still interested. Shy guys don't generally lose interest unless they lose contact and move on lol. At least usually. IF he's getting comfortable that's a good thing :) if you're interested in him, tell him first. It'll probably make his day and he'll probably wanna pursue something too. If not, don't fret. But realize he might not know how to react if you tell him first so if he acts odd and whatnot don't get discouraged, make sure he tells you himself how he feels after you tell him (that is, of course, if you do feel something).

I can't say really

But a shy guy will usually step out of his comfort zone to be closer to a girl..

He won't just lose his shy nature..

He will still act a little jittery near the girl he likes..

Comfort is somthing earned over failed attemps not gained suddenly.. The only reason he could suddenly be comfortable around the girl he likes is if she really was comfortable around him and showed it..

But don't mistake confidence as comfort

If he is shy but has confidence in what he's doing he will act mor comfortable

But not really be comfortabl

He's just more comfortable around you, and warming up to you. A good sign.
