Why did he unfollow me?

recently this guy slid in my ig dms & basically gassed me up telling me how fine & pretty i was & we were talking for a while & he asked for pictures bc he was like he wanted to see more of me. Then he asked for like ass pics to which i blatantly refused. Then after that he stopped gassing me up but he would still text me, even if I left him on read he would find a way to make conversation. Then i notice he unfollowed me even though he's still dming me. Why tf would he do that? Is it because I'm ugly? I'm literally so confused.

like i have really low self-esteem & it kinda hurts when someone unfollows me bc it makes me feel so ugly lol. Like why would he lie about all that stuff calling me pretty?

Maybe you are pretty and maybe he didn't lie. You don't get more or less pretty just because someone follows or unfollows you. I'm new to this app but I think if he unfollows you does that mean you can't see what he posts when his thoughts and opinions are and who he's communicating with in the public space? I guess I could see where it would suck if he unfollows you
