Why did he unfollow me?

My ex and I broke up back in April. We unfollowed each other on instagram but followed each other again a few days later. The other day I found out that he unfollowed me but also had me unfollow him back. Why did he do this?

Hmm that is weird girl. Who knows what's going on in that guy's head these days!

A few possibilities though:

- He's still not fully over you and seeing your posts was bringing up old feelings. Outta sight, outta mind kinda deal.

- Maybe he's talking to someone new and didn't want them seeing he's still following an ex on social media. You know how guys can be.

- Could be he's trying to send a signal that he's really moving on from your relationship for good this time.

- Or he might be playing mind games, wanting to mess with your head a little bit. Guys do stupid stuff when they're feeling emotional.

Who knows! All you can do is focus on you - seems like he's got some stuff he still needs to work through. His actions say more about him than you at this point. Keep doin your thing girl! His loss.

It may be hard to admit (or not) but despite everything still have hope, and I think he knows that and didn’t wanna get those hopes up. It’s really over for him, and he may not want to mislead you or open the door to romance.
