Is it disrespectful for my boyfriend to be liking another girls 'sexy' pictures in her bikini but he won't like any pictures I post like that?

He keeps liking this girls pictures of her bum in a bikini and in her underwear and she lives in the same city as us and I've asked him about it. I told him I dont mind him liking normal pictures of other girls but it bothers me when he likes ones of girls in their underwear or showing off their bums and stuff. And when I went on holiday he didn't like any of my pictures in a bikini and they were just normal ones I wasn't showing off my bum or anything because I thought that would be disrespectful to him you get me? And even though I've told him before it bothers me he still continues to ignore me and do it anyway. Am I overreacting? I know this bothers a lot of other girls aswell, it's not just me. And I've cried and everything about it because he won't listen and he doesn't care.

Not meaning any offense, just my honest opinion. It seems insecure to concern oneself with what their partner takes interest in. Personally, I believe in "you can look, but not touch." You asked if you're overreacting, and to some degree I think you are. On the other hand, whether I agree with it or not, you do have feelings on it and you've made those feelings known. The disrespectful part is him not being considerate of that. For that, he's surely in the wrong.

I agree it is a bit if insecurity on my part but I never told him he can't follow her or like her 'normal' pictures it just bothers me when he's liking pictures where her bum takes up 90% of the picture and she's half naked and stuff... I mean, in my opinion, why would he even like those pictures if he was content with me

Being bothered by his lack of consideration is understandable. I agree with you on that 100%. I don't think looking at other girls means he isn't content with you. It's similar to looking at porn. Just because you enjoy a fantasy doesn't mean you aren't happy with your reality. I think your man has his own insecurities. He doesn't want you to show your body because he's worried if you're out there, you might leave him for someone else. At the same time, he wants to have his own fantasies. As long as they remain looks and thoughts and not actions, I don't see a problem with that, personally.

But the problem is he can't just look at the photo, enjoy the fantasy and move on? He has to like the picture and make it publicly known that he found this girl attractive and he could be giving her ideas at the same time, making her think he's interested. Even after I've mentioned it to him he can't just look at the picture, he has to ignore me and keep on liking them - which I find inconsiderate and disrespectful. But I see where u are coming from

He doesn't have anthng that affects him as well that you can use as example?
Some times people don't really get how much you're frustrated about smthng until you mention an example that hits them equally.
If he is still unaffected by your feelings after that, you should then reevaluate your relationship with him.

Yeah I guess, I guess what's bothering me the most at the moment is that he could just look at the picture and move on, but no he has to stop to like it and make it known that he finds her attractive, but he can't do the same for me when I'm his girlfriend... and he doesn't care that I've expressed it bothers me

Well it’s not so much a red flag that he likes other girls photos. However, what is a red flag is that he’s not prioritizing how you feel or even acknowledging it as worthy. Let him know how him minimizing your authentic feelings of hurt makes you feel. If he still doesn’t care, then you might to reassess your entire relationship and ask if he’s the right one for you. This what you’re experiencing is petty, but I get that things bother you when you’re young. Having said that, when you get into marriage or just even a long term dynamic, problems bigger than this will arise and make you feel like absolute shit. It will happen. If your partner doesn’t assist you in times of need, then the relationship will fail and you’ll feel inadequate. His response towards your insecurities and feelings is alarming for that reason.
