Do guys know when a girl is flirting with them?

My boyfriend is a very attractive guy. Sometimes when we go out to a get together, girls flirt with him. I get irritated that he doesn't remove himself or do anything about it.

I tell him that I didn't appreciate when that girl was flirting and he didn't do anything about it and he always tells me he "didnt know". He claims that he doesn't recognize when a girl is flirting (even though its obvious).

Do some guys really not know? Or is it just a way to avoid an argument because he likes the attention?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Men communicate overtly and have a harder time than woman on picking up body language. Men are very logical creatures and if you want to show your interest, you might have to be a little more obvious for him to "get the picture"

I don’t. Seriously it can go right over my head. I just don’t pick up on hints and being subtle. If she likes me, she would need to be direct and say something like ‘I like you, wanna meet for dinner this Friday?’

I've been accused of the same. I have a very friendly personality, as you have mentioned your boyfriend does. When I go to restaurants especially, I tend to be very friendly with the weight staff, whether it's a guy or a girl. Most women I have dated have quickly realized that I'm just being friendly and not intending to flirt, whatever the intentions are of the other girl. I often don't notice when they're flirting and I'm likely not doing anything to help the situation by being excessively friendly. But when they notice I do the same thing with guys, and I'm straight as can be, then that helps them to think the best of me in the same situation with a girl. Maybe they are flirting, maybe they're not, but in my eyes we're just being friendly for short exchange that will likely never repeat.

well girls jus say nice things and compliment u (aparently thats flirting)
but guys see filirting very differently... when girls flirt it jus seems like theyre being friendly and we have no idea they are actually attracted to us
