Why do guys contradict themselves?

a guy texts me this (message below) and then invites me to the beach a few days later saying “it’s nice out today wanna go to the beach let me get you in a bikini” (or something like that can’t remember exact wording). so i’m like wtf? does he want to get to know me to make me a girlfriend like he said or just see me naked?

2) You really need to improve your conversation skills. Seriously. That was cringe-worthy and I feel sorry for the guy to even be trying with a girl who's quite clearly either not interested or has such an under-developed personality that she can't provide full sentences.

It's not a contradiction of both things can be true at the same time. An apple is both sweet and red, simultaneously. A guy can want to date you and see you naked simultaneously. In fact, it would be weird if those two things didn't occur at the same time. Can you imagine a guy who wanted to date you but had no interest in ever having sex with you?
