Is it bad if my boyfriend didn’t compliment my instagram post?

I’m most likely being paranoid but I am currently annoyed because I just posted some cute pics of myself on instagram and he didn’t bother to comment or compliment me. He only liked the photo. Sometimes he will comment and tell me how beautiful I look but it just bothers me that he didn’t this time. Is it a bad sign or am I just overthinking? He compliments me a lot off of instagram so maybe I shouldn’t be worried?

If things are going well in your relationship and if both of you are content then I don't think you should be concerned. He liked your picture but maybe he'd been preoccupied doing something and will eventually compliment you. If he compliments you off of Instagram, he might like to tell you face to face or, through a FaceTime call, to feel like it's more meaningful. If both of you are in a good place then I assume you should be perfectly fine.

You are being ridiculous. Valuing what happens on stupid Instagram as much as real life.
How about this: he compliments and likes every single picture and "story" you post, BUT when you see him he never gives you one single compliment.
