Why do some guys get hooked on to certain girls?

Is bc you miss the idea of having them around. There not in your life anymore so you miss that kind of relationship with them. Until you move on and find someone else to care about you will think about that one person less. It’s because they moved you in some way that you can’t stop thinking about them. You really liked something about them that is hard to find someone else with what they had. I get it. That place is not a healthy place to be in.

Sorry for the late response. I think it comes from insecurities. The scraps of attention she gave me kept me hooked but I don’t think I was so much in love with her.
