Why is it that being childish & goofy is more acceptable in men?

It's actually adorable and funny watching him playing Minecraft like this. But... imagine if it was a woman acting this exact same way. If that were the case, I would start to think that she has some mental issues or that she's acting strange. Like, is she ok? Does she have a problem?

Why is it that we view men and women differently in this way? It seems like it'd be downright creepy/weird to watch a woman act this way. Why is that?

Not saying it's a good or bad thing, just kind of an interesting thing i noticed. This could be one of the reasons why there are less women in comedy as well? Just a thought.

I think the internet just usually has a problem with women in general, is the problem. But I enjoy youtubers like Dodger, Fiona Nova, and other female influencers who bring that child-like joy and fun to videos. We need more of that, whether the internet realizes it or not. Gonna give ourselves high blood pressure if we keep being so serious all the damn time.

Whether guy or woman, I think there's a stigma for both honestly. Most common thing people will think is they need to grow up. But on youtube there's lots of adults who play games, do toy reviews and collections, talk about cartoon shows, do game console reviews, and a lot more. You can see it from both guys and women, it just depends on what it is as some of these can mostly be done by one or the other.

I have personally never seen a divide. I know many goofy men and many goofy women, and in a partner I prefer a goofball who doesn't take stuff seriously. It may be because a woman is expected to be more sultry and mature? Perhaps some are afraid to be goofy or have a laugh in case they're bombarded with "women aren't funny" comments.

I think it's subjective. The ability to make each other laugh in a relationship is great. Maybe some men want a submissive woman who doesn't act silly and is more serious? To each their own.
