i've always heard that if a guy likes you, even the confident ones, will act nervous around a girl. Or do your nerves come and go?

In a sexual context (contrast with a team trying to finish a C++ programming project), if a guy likes a girl (for her sexy body contrasting with her solving the automaton problem in C++) he just WANT to have sex with her.

Ya, that's it. I'm a guy and I can testify in all honesty that straight guys only thinks about sex with the girl he likes romantically.

Hence when the opportunity comes that he can have sex with her, its like a dream comes true, he'll not fail to "perform".

Yes, there could be awkwardness, but not because of liking her. Its more like the lack of experience or having to get naked kindling awkwardness.

And that will resolve quickly. The more he likes her, the faster he will penetrate her.

Hence many girls lamented that her socially "great guy" can't perform well in the bedroom.

So my opinion is, yes there could be awkwardness. But for reasons other than liking her sexually.

As a guy ask yourself, if you only need "companionship" and "love", do you need to enter a romantic relationship? Personally, after much thoughts, I realised I have many platonic friends, including business partners who are very close to me. I don't lack "friendship".

But when I asked a girl to enter a "special" aka "romantic" relationship, I look forward to sex as "part of the deal". Otherwise she can be another business associate or "friend" to talk about C++ or Javascript.

Perhaps its just me. But I always add sex to romance. Otherwise we're just (platonic) friends.

Frankly, for those who save their virginity, if they "date" and the girl never agree to marriage, the "relationship" will eventually end. And for those who do not, if the girl kept procrastinating it will end too, sooner.

This is why after a lot of thinking and reading here, I came to a conclusion, that guys are still beasts (LOL). If sex is not an end point in his pursuit of a romantic relationship, he would rather play electronic game or play balls than just go out with a girl shopping and "wooing" her (as Shakespeare put it). Sad but real hahaha...

Yes, the nerves do come and go. Sometimes I can be completely normal and then other times I completely lose all sense of composure and get overwhelmed with emotion and just completely geek out and stutter and blush all over the place.

At a certain point, people will learn not to act shy/nervous/awkward. And likewise, some people will always be shy/nervous/awkward - even if they hate your guts.

but usually i'm nervous 24/7 around a guy I like. I somedays REALLLLY try to force myself to treat him like a normal guy. but I feel like my awkwardness comes out lol
